Stop Trying To Convince People…

Stop trying to convince people.

Stop arguing with them.

Stop trying to force them to see what you see, judging them for not understanding ‘the obvious’.

Just love them & let them be.

They have a karmic path, like you, it converges for good reason but it is not the same. Frustration comes when you’re off YOURS & meddling on theirs.

When you step away from the situation, back on your own intended path, the tension will diffuse. This is where the healing happenings, not just for them but also YOU.

I learned this most valuable lesson long ago fresh on my self awareness path:

It is not my job to make people see the way I see.

I remember telling 2 close loved ones about a spiritual teacher who was changing my life. “Wayne Dyer! Have you heard him!? You gotta listen to this guy!” I plead with them & as usual, they didn’t seem to care. They weren’t in the same place as me and it frustrated me. If only they would listen, he could help them too.

Years later, at around the same time, both came to me & said “Have you ever heard of a guy named Wayne Dyer? I think you’d really like him” 🙄

We can’t convince anyone of anything, they find out in their own good (divine) time. We can plant the seeds by mentioning but create the biggest change by embodying the new person we’ve become. It’s then they have no choice but to change. Your external is a mirror of what’s going on in you🪞

This goes especially for those closest to us. You will not be their guru, they know you in a different light. They changed your diapers, grew up with you, saw you drunk, dancing on bar tables (oh was that just me?).

To convince anyone of anything is wasting precious energy. Their teachers come in different forms, drop offence that it’s not you. Be patient, love them as they are & continue doing you.

For now your love may be from afar but what’s meant for you comes back.

Let them go & let them grow in ways that serve THEM best ❤️
